FAQ
Conveyancing Concierge Australia (CCA) is secure online onboarding software used by your conveyancer to collect the information and documents needed to complete your settlement.
Your conveyancer has chosen to use CCA to help protect your interests by:
-
Keeping highly sensitive information off email threads
-
Making sure all key details are captured before advising you on next steps
-
Reducing the risk of information being missed or misunderstood between the realtor, client and conveyancer
Property settlement is often one of the largest financial transactions a person will ever make. Because of that, accuracy, timing and security matter, which is why your conveyancer has partnered with CCA.
CCA helps gather the right information about you and your property upfront, so your conveyancer can prepare accordingly and avoid delays later.
Think of it as the starting point for your settlement. All in one place, without needing to go back and forth for additional details.
-
This process exists to protect you, your conveyancer, and your transaction.
Take your time, answer honestly, and know that this step is helping set your settlement up for success, not complicating it.
Property transactions now come with stricter legal and compliance requirements.
Your conveyancer needs certain information early to:
-
Meet legal obligations
-
Reduce back and forth emails and phone calls
-
Avoid misunderstandings or missing details
-
Identify any issues early (before they become urgent problems)
Completing CCA helps your settlement run more smoothly.
-
Your information is handled using modern security standards and best practice.
The information and documents you provide, are encrypted in transit (while being sent) and encrypted at rest (while stored). It is then formatted into a secure, signable document and delivered through a locked portal that is accessible only to your appointed settlement agent or conveyancer.
This process keeps sensitive information out of email inboxes and reduces the risk of details being intercepted, misplaced or altered.
Because property transactions are a common target for fraud and scams, handling information this way helps protect your details and supports a safer, more secure settlement.
Relying on emails and phone calls alone is no longer considered best practice. CCA was built to reflect how property transactions need to be handled today. Securely, accurately and with clear records.
That’s a fair question.
Your conveyancer can’t properly guide you until they understand the full scope of your transaction, including who is involved, how the property is held, and any circumstances that may affect settlement.
The CCA onboarding process doesn’t replace your conveyancer. It supports them by making sure all the necessary details are gathered first.
Using a structured onboarding process:
-
Ensures your conveyancer has the full picture before providing guidance
-
Reduces the risk of important details being missed or misunderstood
-
Keeps sensitive information out of vulnerable email threads
-
Creates a clear record of what was provided and when
Once your onboarding is complete, your conveyancer / settlement agent can review your contract alongside your CCA submission, prepare the applicable documents, and then contact you with clear next steps.
You’ll still speak with your conveyancer. This simply ensures the groundwork is done so that their guidance is accurate, timely and secure.
-
That’s okay. If you’re unsure:
-
Answer as best you can, and
-
Add a note at the end of the session when asked for "Additional Information"
-
Don’t guess if you truly don’t know
Your conveyancer can follow up if anything needs clarification.
-
Not every property or client is the same.
Some questions only appear because of how you’ve answered earlier ones.
This helps your conveyancer understand your specific situation, rather than back-and-forth emails, requesting more information.CCA is designed to work across most modern devices and browsers. However, performance can be affected by factors outside our control, including:
-
Slow or unstable internet connections
-
Older devices
-
Devices that haven’t been updated recently
-
Browser compatibility issues
If you experience difficulty, please try the following:
-
Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data
-
Refresh the page and try again
-
Use a different device, such as a desktop or laptop
If the issue continues, please contact your appointed settlement agent and let them know what you’re experiencing so they can assist or advise on next steps.
-
Because timing matters and as the saying goes, "those who fail to prepare, prepare to fail". Providing details early allows your conveyancer/settlement agent to:
-
Prepare documents sooner
-
Flag any risks early
-
Reduce last minute stress
-
Keep your settlement on track
Early information = fewer surprises later.
